Laboratory Services

Innercare is proud to offer laboratory services in all our facilities, allowing your physician to obtain your test results promptly and efficiently.

Laboratories are available in each health center and offer a variety of same day, in-house services. All test samples are collected by our friendly and skilled phlebotomists. Tests that cannot be completed in-house are sent to Quest Diagnostics for processing.

Test results are usually available within 24 hours; however, some tests can take a week or more. Understanding the test results is important so you can make the best decisions about your care. You can access your test results through the Patient Portal or by making an appointment with your doctor.

Requesting a lab test

If you think you need a lab test or preventative screening, don’t put it off. Being tested will help you make the health decisions that are right for you.

Call your clinic

State regulations require that your doctor requests lab tests. You’ll need to make an appointment with your doctor and talk about your symptoms or concerns. Depending on the lab test needed, your doctor can send you directly to the laboratory or schedule an appointment for you to be tested.

Don’t be afraid to ask

Discuss your testing questions with your doctor. It’s important for you to understand why you are getting a test and how the results may affect your treatment options. Your doctor is available to answer all your questions.
