This Website Privacy Policy describes how Innercare (“Innercare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information through innercare.org and related online forms. Innercare is a California nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center located at 852 East Danenberg Drive, El Centro, CA 92243.
innercare.org is an informational website. It is not an electronic health record (EHR). It is not used to create, store, access, or retain patient medical records. Clinic records are kept in Innercare’s separate clinical systems. This website publishes information about services, locations, hours, and programs.
This page is not our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. How we use and disclose medical information about patients is explained in our Notice of Privacy Practices (also linked from our HIPAA page). Protected health information in your medical record is handled under HIPAA, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, and that Notice—not this website policy.
Information we collect on this website
Information you give us
- Donations. If you donate online, our payment processor collects name, contact information, payment details, and donation amount. Innercare is a 501(c)(3) organization (Federal Tax ID 95-2657324). Card data is handled by the donation processor (IATS Payments), not stored in WordPress.
- Job and volunteer applications. Applications are submitted by email, fax, or mail. Those materials may include contact information, work history, licenses, and other information you choose to provide. Volunteer applicants under 18 also submit parental consent.
- Contact. The public Contact Us page lists phone numbers and addresses. It does not use a website contact form.
- Patient Portal. Portal enrollment is by invitation from Innercare staff and is a separate system. Health information in the portal is covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices, not this page.

- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for site operation, security, and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some site features.
- Language tools. A Google Translate widget is available on the site. If you use it, Google may receive the page content and technical information needed to provide the translation.
- Security. Security software on the hosting environment may log IP addresses and request data to protect the site from abuse.
How we use website information
We use website information to operate and improve innercare.org, measure traffic, process donations, review employment and volunteer applications, keep the site secure, and comply with law. How we share website information
We share website information with service providers that help us run the site and related programs, including website hosting, security, analytics (Google), translation (Google), and donation processing (IATS Payments). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect Innercare, our patients, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information as that term is used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not use this website for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request that we disclose, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you from this website, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. How long we keep information
This website does not retain patient medical records. We keep website analytics according to our Google Analytics settings, donor records as required for nonprofit tax and accounting rules, and employment or volunteer applications according to Innercare human resources practices. Medical records are retained in Innercare’s clinical systems as required by health care law.
